| OBJECTIVES |
- Schools in Asia have been chronically affected by the large number of disastrous events occurring in recent years, and many are unprepared to deal with hazards of a wide variety, including: earthquakes, floods, droughts, mudslides, cyclones, and fires – the frequency of which may be expected to grow.
- Every child has the right to education and therefore the right to a safe school and this is an ongoing process for millions of poor and marginalized children in Asia.
